Right from the initial offering price of $38 a share Facebook stock has been falling. After several slides followed by a stabilization period the stock price recently fell to a range between $20 to $22 per share where it had been hovering for the last two weeks.
There was some mild optimism last week when Reed Hastings, chief executive of Netflix and a Facebook board member, disclosed a purchase of roughly $1 million in Facebook stock. The actions speak louder than words, and the purchase of Facebook stock by an insider seemed to be a sign that perhaps there was a end to the slide in sight.
Today the slide continued as Facebook dipped below the $20 a share price for the first time closing the day down 6% to $19.87 per share.
I've been staying busy in recent weeks trying to clean up and restore order to my websites.
On the content side I have enough ideas to keep me busy for awhile. My real world desk is full of notes and ideas, and my computer files contain text files of notes and downloaded articles that span more than 20 years.
Where things got bogged down a bit was my ambition to build websites as well as organize the content. I've slowing been bringing my old websites and content into the Drupal content management platform.
