As a technology professional who spends many hours each weekend reading technology newsletters and blogs, I am still sorting out a multitude of questions I have on the ongoing Apple versus Samsung fight.
As much as the headlines proclaimed a big victory in the California courts for Apple, I couldn't help but wonder, was it really as decisive a victory as some have claimed.
Right from the initial offering price of $38 a share Facebook stock has been falling. After several slides followed by a stabilization period the stock price recently fell to a range between $20 to $22 per share where it had been hovering for the last two weeks.
There was some mild optimism last week when Reed Hastings, chief executive of Netflix and a Facebook board member, disclosed a purchase of roughly $1 million in Facebook stock. The actions speak louder than words, and the purchase of Facebook stock by an insider seemed to be a sign that perhaps there was a end to the slide in sight.
Today the slide continued as Facebook dipped below the $20 a share price for the first time closing the day down 6% to $19.87 per share.
